User Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your Pickism account and any personal information we hold about you, including information received from third-party login providers such as Facebook.

What gets deleted

When we process a deletion request, we remove:

Anonymized usage logs and aggregated analytics that do not identify you may be retained.

How to request deletion

You have two options.

Option 1 — In-app (fastest)

  1. Sign in to your Pickism account at https://pickism.com/app
  2. Open Settings → Account
  3. Click Delete account
  4. Confirm the deletion

Your account and associated data are removed immediately. The action is irreversible.

Option 2 — Email request

If you cannot sign in (for example, you lost access to the email or Facebook account you signed up with), email [email protected] from the address associated with your account, or include enough information for us to identify you (for Facebook Login users: the email address Facebook shared with us when you signed up).

If you signed in with Facebook and want to revoke Pickism's access without deleting your account, you can also do so directly from Facebook:

  1. Go to Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites
  2. Find Pickism in the list
  3. Click Remove

Removing the app via Facebook revokes our ongoing access to your Facebook profile but does not automatically delete the data we already received. To delete that data, follow Option 1 or Option 2 above.

Retention after deletion

We may retain a minimal record of the deletion request itself (timestamp and account identifier) for up to 24 months to comply with legal obligations and to demonstrate compliance with data protection laws. Backups are purged on a rolling 30-day cycle.
